october 30,06:15-08:15pm, the heyman center for the humanities at columbia university will host jonathan cole, john mearsheimer, peter novick, robert post, and joan scott for a session on ‘freedom and the university’. of considerable general interest, and particular interest in the wake of the controversy surrounding the iranian president’s visit to columbia. the event takes place in the davis auditorium in the schapiro center.
